My pup is a fussy walker, but the fully adjustable neck and girth fit means zero chafing even on longer strolls. The mesh is so soft on his fur that he actually forgot he was wearing it.

The mesh is definitely breathable and light, but the adjustable straps take a bit of fiddling to get a snug fit around the neck. It works fine for short walks, though I'm not sure how it'll hold up on a longer hike with a stronger puller. Fur hasn't gotten matted under it, which is a plus.
